10 May Simple steps to organise your wardrobe
How nice would it be if I can have my wardrobe organised almost every time I open it? This is going to be a dream statement that all of are looking forward to turning it true. However, that is not going to come your way easily unless you put in a little effort every single day. If you are someone who is used to shoving in things and pulling all of it down again just to search one piece of outfit every single morning, you are not going to learn how to stay organised the easy way. However, here are some of the steps that can help you keep your wardrobe organised all the time.
Pull all of it out first:
If you are standing in front of a messy wardrobe right now, then the first thing that you have to do is to pull all of it out. In the virtue of dragging all of it out, you will be able to find all your long lost clothes and the ones that have really reached the stage of being discarded. Remove everything thing that is in your wardrobe. Once you are done doing it your room will be a whole new mess now.
Sort it out next:
Once you have pulled out all that you have in your wardrobe, the next thing that you have to do is to sort them out. The widest possible sorting categories shall be the ones that you wear almost all the year, the ones that you want to donate and the seasonal ones. Pile the all the pieces that you have to donate and keep it separately. Next is to assemble the ones that you will wear only during a specific season. If you are sure that you are not going to wear them for the next few months, it is better that you keep packed and stored elsewhere.
Sort it out further:
After the previous step, we are sure that you are left with the ones that you are going to wear every single day and all throughout the year. With better space in your wardrobe now, you have to sort it out further. Separate the additional accessories from the clothes and reserve a separate space for them. Some clothes need to be folded, while others like your scarf or a stole can take a random shape and can be stuffed anywhere. That is the reason why you often search them. So grab a basket and throw these multi-utility accessories there so that you will never have to search them again. All you have to do is to drag out that basket. Hang the other clothes to keep them in place.
Clean the racks and closet:
Once your clothes are ready to be hung, clean the shelves and make sure they look neat and without any dirt or dust. Use some wood cleaners and have them dusted. The next thing that you have to do is to make sure that you hung as many clothes as possible. This way you are saving a lot of space.
Put them back in place:
The important part of cleaning and organising lies in maintaining it. So a little effort every day will help you have a closet that always looks clean and neat. Make sure that you put all the things back in place once they are out. Since you have organised it, you will never have to search for them again if you have them organised.
